Here is the second part of my colour themed make-up photoshoot.

For Danni’s eyes, I used an intense sapphire blue coloured eyeshadow with a blue eye pencil (Bourjois “bleu neon”) just over the socket line and down towards the nose. I also used this under the bottom lash line and then filled the inner corners toward the nose with a white pencil for impact. I finished Danni’s eyes with a set of ultra glamorous false eyelashes.

To keep the make-up looking bright and fresh, I used a pink cream blush and also a pink powder blush (MAC “Dollymix”). I finished the look with a strong pink lip.

I just love love colour  so I’m so excited that bright colours are everywhere  for this spring/summer, gorgeous rich, intense corals, yellows, sapphire blues (Kate’s engagement ring), pinks -all so beautiful .

With this in mind I nagged Nigel, the husband & photographer :) , to do a bright coloured themed photoshoot so I could get to try out my brightest coloured make-up. Andrea and Danni were great models and a big thank you to them for letting me use colours that I know they’d never wear in normal everyday life!

For Andrea’s eye make-up, I used a bright green shadow (“Graffiti”)  from Urban Decay with false lashes and I also used under lashes for impact to give a dolly innocent feel to the look.  For Andrea’s cheeks I used a huge amount of pink cream and powder blush and finshed the whole look off with a bright pink lipstick. Andrea’s hair colour is just so gorgeous and I love how it looks in the photos.

The next photo is of Ryan, Andrea’s friend, who came with her. We talked him into having a few photos taken too and I got to do some guyliner and some contouring. He looks great for his first photoshoot…

Joy bought her friend Stephanie a gift voucher for a make-up lesson for her birthday. The two girls came yesterday afternoon for their double make-up lesson. I think both Joy and Stephanie will agree – we had such a great time :) , great chat about everything from make-up, to wrinkles, eyebrows, weddings, etc etc!

Nigel took these few photos of  Stephanie and Joy after we were finished. They look fab… and are now highly knowledgeable about all things make-up related!

Samantha’s boyfriend bought her a makeover photoshoot as a Chrismas present and she came a couple of weeks ago to enjoy the whole “Lashes and Flashes” photoshoot experience.

Samantha is a dental nurse and whether this is the reason why or not, she really has the most gorgeous white teeth and smile! We had a chat beforehand and decided to go for a purple smokey eye with false eyelashes and quite a natural lip. I love this makeover and love the fact that Samantha was a real natural in front of the camera and her gorgeous personality really shines through in the photos.I did a short video of Samantha’s makeover experience so just hit play and if you have sound turn up the volume…..

Samantha’s makeover photoshoot is one of my all time favourites – as, not only is she a really lovely, modest person, but she really has amazing features which shows in her photos.

Nigel took a quick photo of one of my bridal trial make-ups this morning. She will be a stunning winter bride.
