I recently did the  make-up for the very lovely Teresa and Donna from The Boudoir, Linen Green, Dungannon. The Boudoir boutique very deservedly made the final of the Ulster Tatler Retailer of the Year Awards in the Waterfront Hall, Belfast which was held on 16th September.

The make-up ….

Donna has really gorgeous dark eyes, and as her dress was a  dark navy ink colour, I  kept her eyeshadow  dark navy, smoking this and finally adding a gorgeous Jemma Kidd crushed jewel in Lolite shadow with a  tiny amount of the Lolite silver glitter onto the lid. She really suited it and it just made her eyes pop. Teresa also has big chocolate eyes and so I defined Teresa’s eyes too with dark shades and  highlighted the tops of her amazing cheekbones and brow bone – two real smashers!!

From natural makeup……

to a more funky look…..

We had a great time this summer doing some photoshoots at the beach. Our favourite beach in N.Ireland is White Rocks at Portrush so we really enjoyed getting some people together -I did the makeup, Nigel took some photos and we had a few barbecues on the beach with the girls modelling. My good friend and makeup artist Louise who lives up near Coleraine even came to say hello one evening. What a great summer. Looking forward to next year…..

ASOS Magazine – “Between The Lines” look

I love coming home and seeing that the latest ASOS magazine has landed in my hall. This month this page really grabbed my attention as I love doing graphic eyeliner. It is a look that is a bit like marmite and is definitely a night time look! I did a fashion makeup like this quite a few months ago. Here was my version……

Created using Bobbi Brown black gel eyeliner

Thank you to Rhonda – who was a great model
