Last night Nigel was photographing a really cute, gorgeous couple (Stephanie and Richard) at his new found favourite location. We went  on a lovely walk around the lough and it really was a beautiful summer’s  evening with lots of love in the air!

Before we went out I  did Stephanie’s make-up.  Stephanie told me she doesn’t really wear a lot of make-up, and she certainly doesn’t need much, so I subtly enhanced her natural beauty by keeping the make-up as natural as possible. I used some soft Urban Decay and Smashbox colours on her eyes with a corally pink blush on her cheeks ( NARS – my favourite) and a  No 7 natural coloured lipstick and gloss (which apparently tasted nice!). To finish some Bobbi Brown “Brick” to add a touch of highlight to the tops of the cheeks and high points. Here are just a few of the photos of Stephanie with more to follow :) Gorgeous!

Urban Decay’s Razor Sharp Ultra Definition Finishing Powder

I tried this product today and it is amazing! It left my skin feeling so unbelievably silky, I couldn’t stop feeling my cheeks. It also seemed to reduce the size of my pores and lasted all day. I  love it.

Urban Decay promises that the “Razor Sharp’s silky, micro fine powder fools the eyes with “optical blurring”, and miraculously seems to airbrush away skin’s imperfections. It’s a smooth, flawless, soft-focus finish that’s flattering under even the harshest of lights. Use Razor Sharp as a finishing touch after foundation, or wear it alone to create a perfect “bare skin” look. However you apply it, you’ll be addicted to the tiny water particles that float on skin’s surface and “burst” when applied. So refreshing! Our no-mess component with attached puff and handy on/off switch is freeway and subway friendly – take it anywhere beauty calls. The universal shade suits all skin tones, so you’re covered for summer AND right into winter when your tan has faded away”

The only thing I don’t like about this product is the dispensing mechanism and would rather it just have a “holey” top like other loose powder pots. And the other downside is the very long name – too many words!  Also, I’m really not sure how the water particles “bursting” technology thing works but other than that I think this is a great product. Ps it’s £17 and worth every penny.

I would love to hear other comments on this product and also tell me about any other favourite products you use and swear by. It’s great to experiment.
